NIHONGO TRAVELER
Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Nihongo Traveler mobile application ("the App"), operated by Enrique Garcia Rosales (Mexico, RFC GARE920505370). By using the App you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
The App provides Japanese-language learning content (vocabulary, kanji, grammar), spaced-repetition study tools, and widgets. Content is provided for personal, non-commercial learning use.
2. Free tier and subscriptions
- Free: a portion of each track's content, with ads.
- Standard / Pro subscriptions: auto-renewing subscriptions billed through your Apple App Store or Google Play account. Prices are shown in the App before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and are managed/cancelled in your store account settings.
- Lifetime: a one-time purchase unlocking all current content and features marked as included for lifetime purchasers.
- Refunds are handled by Apple/Google under their store policies.
3. Accounts
An account is optional. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. You may delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete Account, which permanently removes your server data.
4. Acceptable use
You may not copy, redistribute, scrape, or resell the App's content; reverse engineer the App except where permitted by law; or use the App in a way that disrupts the service for others.
5. Intellectual property
The App and its original content are owned by the operator. Dictionary data © EDRDG (JMdict/KANJIDIC2, CC BY-SA 4.0); example sentences from the Tatoeba project (CC-BY 2.0 FR); JLPT N5/N4 word lists derived from open sources (MIT / CC-BY). These remain under their respective licenses.
6. Disclaimer & liability
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that consumer law grants you in your country of residence.
7. Changes and termination
We may update the App and these Terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Mexico, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of your place of residence.
